aged 43, is a specialist consultant surgeon in facial plastic cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He was appointed a NHS Consultant in the Department of Maxillo- Facial and Facial Plastic Surgery at Manchester Royal Infirmary with Central Manchester Foundation NHS Trust in 2008.

Tim offers facelift, neck lift, mini facelift, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, genioplasty, brow lift, otoplasty, liposculpture, facial implants, laser rejuvenation and non-surgical cosmetic facial treatments. For each of these there are different techniques and procedure selection should be based on an advanced knowledge of facial structure, function and balance.

Tim Blackburn is 'board certified' as a facial surgeon in England, UK (a Registered Specialist in Maxillo- Facial Surgery with the UK General Medical Council -number 4536776) and has operated on more than 3000 cases which include the whole range of Facial Plastic Surgery. He holds both the FRCS(OMFS)Ed and FRCS(Clinical Surgery in General)Ed qualifications and is a member of the Association of the Facial Plastic Surgeons in the UK.

He holds practicing privileges with Spire hospitals, Face and Eye clinic and BMI Alexandra hospital. His NHS role includes subspecialist expertise in craniofacial reconstruction including stereotactic navigation and 3D imaging technology. He has been the Medical Director of the Manchester skn clinic (formerly lasercare) since 2007 and has considerable experience in laser treatments for the face eg mole removal / wrinkle tightening / fading redness and scar resurfacing. The skn clinic has 8 different specialist lasers available - and the new generation Fraxel laser arrives in Spring 2012.
